Donelly (Brendan Gleeson) gets some bad news from the doctor that his wife passed away not long ago. Sad Donelly put the picture of their pet rabbit in the hands of his wife and boarded the train to his home in Dublin alone in the early morning. On the train, opposite Donelly sits a chattering young man (R ú aidhr í Conroy), who seems to be dissatisfied with everything, complains in the air and sometimes quarrels with the couple sitting next to him. The couple has just lost their beloved daughter, while the young man's sharp words make the husband (David Wilmot) furious, and the wife (Aisling O'Sullivan) makes a painful choice in despair. A change that followed made Donelly suddenly realize that just the night before, they had all lost the most important thing in their lives.
