Stand by Me

Stand by Me 8.1

This is a movie about growth. Famous writer Gordy (Richard Dreyfuss) recalled an adventure when he was 12 years old: At that time, young Gordy (Wil Wheaton) and his three friends Chris (River Phoenix), Teddy (Corey Feldman) and Wayne went to the forest on the other side of the river to find the body of a 12-year-old boy in order to be "heroes". Each of the four teenage families has problems, and they all have their own worries. During the journey, everyone's character was vividly reflected: the weakness and strength in the character of the four boys were amplified to the greatest extent in a series of actions such as flashing trains, climbing iron gates, and crossing forests; everyone had their own dreams that they could not reach...
