The story takes place on the scenic banks of the Mississippi River. Tom (Tommy Kelly), who lost his mother from an early age, is a poor orphan. However, with the help and support of friends and relatives, Tom grew up to be a happy and brave boy. Huckleberry (Jackie Moran) is Tom's best friend. When the two children are together, they often cause all kinds of trouble and make countless jokes. By accident, Tom became a witness to a murder. Fearing reprisals from the murderer, Tom and Huckleberry decided to run away from home and embark on a journey of escape. Tom's disappearance made his relatives feel anxious, but he opened up his own world on the lonely island and lived happily. Finally, when the case was about to be tried, Tom stood up and told the truth and helped the judge make a fair decision.
