Adapted from Michael Crichton's best-selling novel of the same name. This film is a miniseries redirected by the Scott brothers from the 2008 TV series. In the small town of Piedmont, Utah, a couple were dating on a mountain when a satellite suddenly fell. The curious two men brought the satellite back to the town, but did not know that they also brought the terrible disaster back to the town. Suddenly, a terrible virus broke out in the small town, and people died for unknown reasons. To prevent the virus from spreading to other cities, the army sealed off the town and sent a scientific team codenamed "Andromeda" to identify the source of the disease. The team members include: infectious disease scientist Jeremy (Benjamin Bratt), outer biologist Angela (Christa Miller), microbiologist Tsi (Kim Dae-hyun), and pathologist Charlene (ViolaDavis). At the same time, a reporter named Jack (Eric McCormack) also seems to be exploring an ulterior secret...
