This film is based on the director's own experience of growing up in youth. In the 1950s, a handsome priest came to a Catholic school in Melbourne in the 1950s. No one thought that a soul-stirring war between man and God was being staged in this harsh school, which was far more divine than human. The film is co-written by the director and Australian genius writer Thomas Kinnelly. Kinnelly is not only the original "Schindler's list", but also plays the role of a priest in this film, and his acting skills are well received. This film was shortlisted for Cannes director's biweekly unit.
