An American Civil War film based on real events. The story is set in the spring of 1863, when Union General Grant was so upset that he could not capture Vicksburg, he sent cavalry to attack Newton Station in Mississippi and cut off Confederate supply lines. Colonel Marlowe, who was in charge of the army, was the designer of the railway before the war, and the accompanying officers had different psychological motivations, among which Major Kendall was a doctor with a conscience, and his views on the war were exactly the opposite of the rough Marlowe. On the way, the cavalry camped on the farmland of Hannah, a southern woman, but she was spying on the military. Marlowe arrested her and then launched a fierce attack on Newtown Station.
