The play is adapted from the novel of the same name by Scott Duro. It tells the story of Rusty Sabic (Gyllenhaal), one of the prosecutors, becomes a suspect after a horrific murder case at the prosecutor's office in Chicago. Explore the powers and limitations of obsession, sex, politics, and love as the defendant struggles to maintain his family and marriage. Nega plays Rusty's wife, Barbara, an artist, gallery owner and mother whose life is upended after her husband is accused of murdering his mistress. She also fights for her family while dealing with a broken heart and a broken marriage, and struggles with her husband's well-known trial.
