The play is adapted from the moonfire series "Nationals" broadcast on KBS2 in April 2019, starring Cui Shiyuan, Li Yuying and Kim Chun-ting, who revolves around a swindler who accidentally marries a police officer, whose past got him involved in other events, inadvertently won the "Brave Citizen Award" recognition, and was even proposed to run for election. In this adaptation of the American version, Milo will play "Charlie" and fall in love with "Emma" ("players" and "Kate" Catherine Haena Kim) who is working undercover in CIA; one night both parties know each other's identities. Charlie intends to "whitewash" his family business and eventually come ashore; "Emma" is close to dangerous criminals linked to the debts of the Charlie family; the two are forced to face each other's lies and try to save their families from catastrophic consequences as much as possible.
