After his wife died, professional chef CHENG and his youngest son went to a remote village in Finland to establish contact with an old Finnish friend he once knew in Shanghai. Upon arrival, none of the people in the village seemed to know his friends, but Sirkka, the local cafe owner, provided accommodation for him, while Cheng helped her surprise the locals with Chinese food in the kitchen. Gradually, his cooking style encouraged the connection between these very different cultures, and Zheng soon became a famous member of the community. Unfortunately, his tourist visa will soon run out, which depends on the villagers coming up with a plan to help him stay.
