An absurd black comedy, with an unconventional description of crime to achieve an alienation effect, criticizes the indifference and desolation of urban life in this inhumane era. Alfonso mistakenly killed a man with a knife in the subway station. He tried to confess his crime to his neighbor (a detective) but was refused on the grounds that it was not working hours. Later, Alfonso's wife was killed and the killer almost confessed. Alfonso and the detective did not care; the three men experienced a series of strange experiences in Paris. Bertrand Bertrand Blier, a famous French director, wrote and directed a film full of bizarre plots and strange colors, with an unexpected ending.
