The headstrong university lecturer Issa (Nuri Bigg Ceylon Nuri Bilge Ceylan) and his wife Bach (Ebru Ceylon Ebru Ceylan) are vacationing in the scenic seaside town of Cass, but the couple's mood is out of tune. Somehow, they had a fierce quarrel, and Issa left his wife and returned to Istanbul alone. In the days of living apart, Issa and his former girlfriend (Nazan Kesal) relive their old dreams, but he does not immerse himself in them, but gradually realizes the value of his wife. He decided to set out to find Bach... The film won four awards at the 2006 Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival, including Best Director, Best Editing, Best Sound effect and Best supporting Actress (Nazan Kirilmis); the 2006 Cannes International Film Festival Phoebe Award; and the 2007 Istanbul International Film Festival Turkey Best Picture and people's Choice Award.
