Freddy (Steve Martin Steve Martin) and Lawrence (Michael Kane Michael Caine) are two playboys who have been drifting on the quack for many years, targeting lonely, wealthy single women who profit from deceiving their feelings. In a sense, Freddy and Lawrence are old colleagues, so the infighting between them has never stopped. A girl named Janet (Glenne Hedley Glenne Headly) appears in front of two love swindlers, and her beauty and sexiness soon attract their attention. With Janet as the target, Freddy and Lawrence made a bet that whoever won Janet's heart first would be a well-deserved female killer. However, to the surprise of the two, the situation gradually got out of their control in this game.
