This film is adapted from a children's book of the same name created by Free Louis Duncan (Lois Duncan). 16-year-old orphan Andy (Emma Roberts Emma Roberts) and brother Bruce (Jack T. Austin Jake T. Austin) are adopted by a family, but the family does not allow them to keep pets. They can only put their dependent puppy "Friday" in an abandoned hotel. Although the hotel is dilapidated, it is very suitable for dogs. Andy, Bruce and friends began to rebuild the hotel and invented a series of convenient and practical automatic devices to help dogs become "self-sufficient". Soon, it became a sweet nest for more and more stray dogs. Also let Andy and Bruce, as orphans, experience the warmth and value of home for the first time in their lives. However, with the increasing number of dogs in the hotel, the "stray dog hotel" also aroused the suspicion of the police, and they gradually found the place. The children are going to transfer the dog in order to protect the dog, and a battle of wits is about to begin.
