The untalented screenwriter Henry (Tilschwig Til Schweiger) leads a bohemian single life, but is broken by a lovely and eerie-looking eight-year-old girl Madeleine (Emma Schweger Emma Schweiger) and claims to be his daughter. The "daughter" killed halfway turned out to be the crystallization of an one-night stand eight years ago, and the inexperienced Henry had no choice but to take care of the "daughter". At the same time, Henry receives a big case of adapting a best-selling novel, co-authored with his old lover Kathleen (Yasmin Glatt Jasmin Gerat). Henry wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to get his favorite back, but the naughty Madeleine was sandwiched in the middle, making a series of funny but tender episodes. Can Henry win the love of his little "daughter" with his specialty "Braised Chicken with Red Wine", and can he rekindle this hard-won love? This film won the top-grossing German Film of the year in 2011.
