The Spanish Civil War has just ended, in a difficult period of post-war trauma. In the Catalan countryside, Andrew (Francisco Colomo Francesc Colomer), a boy who belongs to the defeat camp, finds the bodies of a father and son in the jungle. However, the authorities put the blame on Andrew's father Faliol (Roger Casamedje Roger Casamajor), making him an innocent scapegoat. Andrew decided to act alone to find the real killer of the father and son and reveal the truth. Andrew tracked down all the way, all kinds of intrigues and lies in the adult world, let the young Andrew see this twisted world clearly. In order to survive, Andrew had to betray his race, and he came to realize the terrible demon that had been lurking in his heart for a long time. The film Black Bread, directed by famous Spanish director Augustine Villaroga, swept the 25th Spanish Goya Awards in 2011, including Best Picture, Best Director, Best Photography and Best adapted Screenplay.
