This is a true story. In 1923, a small town in Florida was reduced to ashes overnight. Ex-soldier Mann passed through Rosewood, only to be involved in a rape case. The victim was a white woman who lied about being raped by blacks in order to cover up her adultery with others, arousing hostility towards blacks in Rosewood. The spark of hatred ignites immediately, and it becomes more and more intense, and many whites who already discriminate against blacks take advantage of the opportunity to indiscriminately kill innocent people, even women and children.
