In 1956 in northern France, a group of underground miners took a professor to a depth of one kilometer underground to conduct sampling and investigation. A sudden landslide prevented them from returning to the surface, but they also discovered a tomb from another era and unknowingly awakened the legendary bloodthirsty creature.
